IGusti Made Oka Sulaksana, a 37-year-old windsurfer, is still the backbone of Indonesia’s team, but he would not be playing at the Asian Beach Games had he gone ahead with his retirement plan.

Bali,9 Oct (BP) 4 time Olympian Oka Sulaksana will miss the Windsurfing Mistral One World Championships in Tunisia in November due to lack of funds and will instead compete in Thailand in the warm up for the SEA Games 2007 in December also in Thailand with fellow team mate Gede Bangli Subagiasa.

Bali,8 Oct (BP) Sanur will host the Asian Windsurf Championships next month 7-11 November which is also practice run for next year’s Asian Beach Games windsurfing to held in Sanur.
Hot favourite is Sanur’s own 4 time Olympian Oka Sulaksana.
