The tabloid Daily News Denpasar, is organizing the Badminton championship, with the title “ DEN POST CUPS” at GOR Yuwana Mandala, Tembau, Denpasar. The championship will involve 400 players, it will be done on 6-9 September. Steering Committee, Ida Bagus Wibawa said on Monday (3/9), whilst this championship will involve students in Bali, ,but instead of schools, most of them will be representing their clubs, such as PB Pancawati, Tunas Mekar, Dharma Praja, Mandala, Dewata, Cahaya, Tunas Muda, Ubud, Menang Kalah Sehat (MKS), and delegation from each Pengcab PBSI overall Bali.
The players will not be allowed to play outside of their age group. “ This rule is really strict no one player can move up or down from their group,” IB Wibawa said. This tournament it being held in conjunction with the 9th birthday of Daily News Denpost on October 1st, next month.
