The BICC Bali 6s will be played next week at Easter on the three days. On Friday and Saturday the teams will each play 6 matches and the finals will be played on the Sunday for the Bali 6s Cup (top 4 teams)and the Plate (lower ranked teams).
This year there will be 7 teams playing and a little disappointing with the current Global Financial Crisis the international teams have not been able to participate.
The tournament will be as interesting as ever with the following teams competing:
Host team BICC, this year all Balinese players
Udayana - regular Bali team and the first Indonesian team
Sumbawa - expat team which has competed in every Bali 6s
Jakarta Globe Tigers - new Indonesian team supported by Jakarta Globe
Red Ants - Bali team from Gianyar`
Cricket Badung - new Bali team supported by KONI
Veterans - some older expats and some locals still enjoying cricket.
The tournament will be played on the usual groung at the Udayana University in Jimbaran.
