From the Editor’s Desk

Dear All,

Welcome to the year 1930.

After the Ogoh-Ogoh parades around Bali on Thursday,Bali ushered in the New Year last Friday with Nyepi, the Day of Reflection.

Total silence,no cars,no ports,no airport,no noise only the sounds of the birds, allowing Bali to chill out and recharge itself.

Whilst in Bali activities ground to a standstill, elsewhere in the archipelago,Bali Rugby Club competed in the Sengatta 10’s.

Looking ahead ,Bali will certainly be a busy place sports wise in October, what with the Asian Beach Games with a purported 5000 athletes and now a Shooting tournament at the same time with a 1000 shooters rampaging through Serengan (Turtle) Island right next to the beach games…………… interesting .

Yours in Sport,

The Editor
