Bali Sports Foundation,a new charity takes a group of under 14 Balinese boys from around KlungKung,who had never been out of Bali or on a plane to Singapore on the historical grounds of Singapore Cricket Club for the SCC Soccer Sixes which included another 23 teams from Bangladesh,Thailand,Malaysia & Singapore.

All games will be at the Samudra Field in Kuta.

Bali Rugby Club heads off to Jakarta for the first big appointment of the season,the Jakarta 10’s.
With the previous winners the Sumbawa Nagas withdrawing,BRC has a good chance for the silverware.
This following BRC’s recent trip to Sumbawa for a match between the respective development teams.
The Jakarta 10’s also form the trials for the Indonesian National Rugby Union Team ,for upcoming Div 3 A5N series between Iran,Pakistan,Guam & Indonesia held in Jakarta in early June.

The 9th edition of the Bali Soccer Sixes are on Saturday 29th May.
With teams from Bali, Borneo, Sumbawa, Jakarta, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Australia.
it promises to be the biggest Soccer Sixes in Bali.
There will be two categories Open & Vets (over 35’s)
All games will be at the Samudra Field in Kuta.

Masters event expands // Wed, 28 Apr 10
The Bali Masters continues to increase in popularity with a record number of teams projected for this year. Held June 12 at the Canggu Club, many new teams have expressed interest in this year’s event, which will be the fifth edition of the unique competition. With a possible 16 teams participating, games will most likely be scheduled on Friday evening as well as all day on Saturday. It is planned that finals games this year will be played under lights. 16 teams will mean that the Bali Masters 9s will be the biggest Aussie rules event in Asia. Calendar of Events
Bali Ocean Swim // Sat, 10 Jul
1.2 Km and 5 km ocean swim of Kuta
Entries is open to both local competitors and overseas visitors.
The swim would be a short 1.2K under the supervision of the Balawista Surf Lifesaving Group at Kuta Beach.
Event for males and females in the following age groups: Juniors (12 to 17 years), Adults (18 to 35 years) and Masters (over 35)
Money raised from entries to the event will be used (after expenses are covered) to conduct swimming programs at local pools (thereby generating business for them) and beach locations for children from low income families.
Any money raised through sponsorships by businesses or individuals would go to the Bali Swim4Kids program.
These programs would offer children a 10-15 lesson program to develop water confidence, awareness and safety for children and an understanding of the inherent dangers of water activities.
Equipment for teaching, such as kickboards and noodles will be provided.
Each child would receive a pair of swim goggles and a t-shirt at no cost to them.
