From the Editor’s Desk

Starting this weekend the MRA Trialthlon at Jimbaran Bay on the following Sunday the 20th June,
And the action doesn’t stop with the Reef Bali Pro Surfing at Padma following shortly after 21-26 June.
And the HOTAIR Kitesurfing Comp is back for its 5th Edition at Sanur Beach on 2-4 July.
On the 4th of July there is the 1st Bali Ocean Swim at Kuta Beach,
All of this ahead of this month,
And as this months video shows,Bali has already had a visit by the
Australian Rugby League trainers helping develop the game.
Looking further back we have reports on the Bali Soccer Sixes,Coaltrans World Cup Sixes,
Jakarta Rugby Union 10’s and Bali Rugby Clubs visit to Sumbawa.
And congratulations to the Bali Geckos for winning the 2010 Bali AFL masters

Amy-Lee O’Connor swam for an orphanage in Bali // Wed, 02 Jun 10

BATTERED by a strong current, avoiding dead fish and pulling rubbish from her swimsuit, Amy-Lee O’Connor could be forgiven for questioning her decision to take on an open water swim in Bali.

But the strong-willed 17-year-old from Cooloongup remained focused on her goal of saving a small orphanage from financial hardship and completed the 8km swim from Kuta to Seminyak last month.

2010 JAKARTA 10’s // Wed, 02 Jun 10

Bali’s Chilli’s recieves big crowd support in Jakarta The first weekend in May saw the Bali Rugby Senior team “The Chilli’s” make the annual pilgrimage to Jakarta for the ISCI 10’s. We arrived at the grounds bright and early, but due to a change in the draw, found out that we had less than 5 minutes before our first game against the ISCI Dragons. The lack of preparation showed and we took awhile to get moving, but eventually ran out to a 4 try win.
