The body is transfered from the tower to the wood statue of the bull,the priests bless and wash the body with ‘tirtha” holy water,his most cherished possessions are placed along side his body by his son and then AA Gede Oka Djelantik is sealed in the bull.

AA Gede Oka Djelantik is carried to to the cemetery.All his most cherished possessions are carried by the Royal Family and palace staff in a procession down the main street with hundreds watching. These items are placed with him for the next life.

After the extended family prays, AA Gede Oka Djelantik’s body, is removed from the Pavilion of Death,in the Puri Agung Karangasem to the main street to be placed in a 9 storey tower for his final journey to the cemetery for cremation.
